Claremont Lodge Pay Respects to the Queen

The sad passing of Queen Elizabeth II last month was a historic moment that was felt by everybody throughout the country and across the globe. Her 70 year reign was an incredible feat, so much so that most people don’t remember a time in which she wasn’t queen. While this may not apply to some of our older residents, everybody at Claremont Lodge Care Home, our elderly care home in Worthing, were keen to pay their respects to the Queen.

Staff and residents both took the time to commemorate Her Majesty in their own way. From laying flowers, writing personal messages, saying a prayer and singing the national anthem, everybody had the opportunity to reflect on the extraordinary life of Queen Elizabeth II before saying their thank yous and goodbyes.
