Claremont Lodge Welcomes Some Cute New Additions
There were some exciting new additions to the Claremont Lodge Care Home family recently - five gorgeous ducklings! The eggs had been in an incubator staying nice and cosy until they were ready to hatch, with the cute little ducklings finally making their appearance just before Easter weekend. They wasted no time in familiarising themselves with their new surroundings and the residents of our rest home in Chichester gave their new fuzzy friends a fantastic welcome.
Over the past couple of weeks they have been well and truly making themselves at home, exploring everywhere their webbed feet will take them, meeting plenty of new friends and enjoying swimming and splashing in their very own paddling pool. The residents love having the opportunity to watch them grow bigger every day, and we’re sure it won’t be long until they are big enough to venture outside into the real world!
